Delicious food, a friendly atmosphere and an abiding wish to return!

The Granby Inn and Restaurant is owned and run by the Hall & Bright Family, it has been in the same family for 51 years and now in the hands of the third generation. Formerly a coaching stop, The Granby Inn is around 250 years old and has retained much of its original character, we pride ourselves in providing our guests with comfortable accommodation, delicious food, a friendly atmosphere. We use only the finest local ingredients delivered daily from a local family butcher next door, a local greengrocer and a North Shields Fish Merchant.

Northumberland EATS says...This is the place to visit if you love a good steak and they certainly know how to cook one! Dine in the pub or the restaurant at The Tavern, both of which always have a warm, cosy atmosphere. As well as the choice of succulent steaks, there's plenty menu choice...with unusual lite-bites such as Sausage & Pork Munchies, TFT Chicken Tender Butty and Hog-War-T. Hearty mains include Farm Mixed Grill, Fish and Chip Feast and Gooey Macaroni Cheese. You'll feel really relaxed here and well looked after, make sure to book if you don't want to miss out.
